Before she married Han, Leia was temped by two
Princes. Prince Xizor, and Prince Isolder. Isolder's
mother wanted Leia to marry him, or else they would not
join the Republic. Of course, Han was thoroughly mad
at him. Han "kidnapped" Leia and took her to Dathomir,
a planet he had won in a game of Sabacc. She was
VERY angry with Han at first, but in the end Han
won her heart and they are married at long last.

Eventually they had three children who all had
Force abilities: Jacen, Jaina, & Anakin.
Jacen and Jaina were born while the
New Republic was facing Grand Admiral
Thrawn. Anakin was born while they were
facing the clone of the emperor.

Luke had started a jedi academy, and Leia used
to visit him every now and then and he taught
her some basic Force knowledge, though she
is usually very busy with her New Republic duties.
